Popping up in Sydney’s iconic Westfield Shopping Centre, for one weekend only, on 11th – 12th August, The Selfie Store by mark. will trade with selfies being the only currency. Beauty junkies will be encouraged to experiment with the product in-store, create a look, take a selfie and post it to their social network. At the checkout the selfie is then exchanged for one product from the mark. make-up range.
US singer/songwriter, model and the face of Madonna’s clothing line Material Girl, Pia Mia will be visiting Australia to launch mark. make-up and will make a surprise appearance at The Selfie Store. Across the weekend, Pia Mia will share her top beauty secrets, favourite mark. looks, and offer shoppers tips and tricks on how to master the art of taking the perfect selfie.
The Selfie Store by mark. is set to be the ultimate beauty hang-out, hosting ‘how to’ tutorials and selfie masterclasses. Expert make-up artists are on hand at the beauty bar to offer top tips and techniques on how to achieve signature mark. looks. Selfie queens can learn how to pout like a pro at one of the store’s three designated selfie stations dedicated to perfecting the ‘fingermouthing’ selfie, group selfie and infamous bathroom mirror selfie.
About Pia Mia
Island girl, Pia Mia, 20, is a successful recording artist, entrepreneur, songwriter, fashion icon, dancer and actress. Born and raised on the tropical island of Guam in the West Pacific, she joined school and community musicals from a young age, travelling internationally and singing for humanitarian tours. Pia soon began posting covers on YouTube, promptly becoming a viral sensation. She then set out to leave home and bring her childhood dreams to LA.
At the age of 17, Pia Mia formed recording label Wolfpack Entertainment, signing herself as its first artist, before being signed by Interscope Records. Since 2014, she has had a string of hit of records including “Do It Again” featuring Chris Brown and Tyga, and more recently “I’m A Fan” featuring Jeremih.
